In this video, we demonstrate how to replace the freezer LED light on a BCD-455WTE Everchill refrigerator, commonly used in an RV fridge setup. A working interior light is important for visibility and convenience, and this step-by-step guide walks you through the full replacement process.
First, open the freezer door and carefully remove the freezer components. Pull out the top sliding upper drawer, lift it off the rails, and set it aside. Next, gently lift the freezer door upward to release it from the bottom rails and remove it completely.
Once access is clear, locate the freezer LED light. Use a pick tool to carefully remove the plastic LED light cover. Then disengage the LED light strip and unplug it from the connector. Remove the old LED light strip completely.
Install the new LED light strip by plugging it into the wire connector, then press it firmly into the grooves until it snaps securely into place. After that, reinstall the clear plastic cover by pressing it until it locks back in position.
To finish, reassemble the freezer. Align the lower drawer wheels with the guide rails, lift slightly to seat them correctly, and slide the drawer back in. Repeat the same process for the upper drawer to ensure smooth operation.
