This video demonstrates how to replace the water valve connector kit on a Furrion FCR20DCAFA RV fridge.
First, turn the water supply valve to the off position. Remove the blue water valve clip from the 90-degree elbow connector, and disconnect the water tubing from the valve. Next, remove the vent cover backing by taking out the Phillips head screws and setting it aside. Then remove the screw securing the water valve plate to the refrigerator.
On the back side of the water valve assembly, remove the blue clip again and disconnect the tubing completely. Unscrew the locking nut that secures the water valve to the plate, and remove the old valve.
Install the new water valve into the plate and secure it using the locking nut. Reinsert the tubing into the valve and lock it in place using the blue water valve clip. Reattach the valve plate to the refrigerator using the Phillips screws.
Reinstall the vent cover backing and tighten the screws to secure it in place. Reconnect the water tube to the valve and ensure it is fully locked with the clip. Finally, turn the water supply valve back to the on position and check for proper operation.
This step-by-step guide helps ensure a secure installation and proper water flow in your RV fridge, keeping your refrigerator system functioning correctly while you travel.
