Jason Booth is currently Publisher of the Week on the Unity Asset Store. He's giving away the MicroVerse main module for FREE. So I've decided to give away Biomes and Presets for MicroVerse for FREE as well for the week.

With the main module you can shape your terrain using e. g. my FREE StampIT! Collection Examples.

For this showcase I used Landscape Ground Pack 1 and 2 of NatureManufacture as well to show the integration of paid assets in the MicroVerse Content Browser.

Of course I recommend getting the MicroVerse Core Collection to get the additional benefit of placing terrain trees and details and objects, but that's up to you. Enjoy! 😀

$Custom Modification of Top Down Car Racing Engine with MicroVerse The initial release sale of Top Down Car Racing Engine ends today. So I thought Id grab it quickly. I just do like those arcade racers. And - wow - am I positively surprised by that asset. Its the most complete asset Ive ever had. Its a full game, check the asset description for details. The publisher provides plenty of tutorials and documentation. Im really impressed. Especially how one can quickly get into the gameplay. The asset is just right. All you can see including script creation was done during morning coffee. Of course I wanted to modify the scene. The asset comes with its custom spline editor, MicroVerse uses Unity splines. So I quickly coded a mapper for their spline positions to Unity spline positions. Just to enable road creation along the spline and vegetation removal. Im super impressed what you can do with this asset. I also wanted to see how the asset works when its not in top down mode. What you see in the video is just a fraction of what the asset provides. The vegeation and houses I used are from QuadArt.
