[Synth/Ambient/Stage & Screen/Various Artists/Score/OST] Here is the complete La-La Land Records soundtrack release to Paramount Pictures' horror sequel: FRIDAY THE 13th PART VIII – JASON TAKES MANHATTAN (1989). This soundtrack was released by La-La Land Records & Paramount Pictures with only 2000 copies in existence. The score is entirely composed by well acclaimed musician Fred Mollin and is the first FRIDAY film score at the time to not be composed or co-composed by Harry Manfredini. This release also features four bonus tracks from the film: "The Darkest Side of the Night (Instrumental)", "Broken Dream," "J.J.'s Blues" and "Livin' In The City". All four of these bonus tracks remained unreleased for 30 some odd years ...until now. I do remember reading somewhere that according to Stan Meissner, "Broken Dream" by Terry Crawford and "J.J.'s Blues" were never finished and what you hear in the film is pretty much all that there is. Never the less it is great that Stan Meissner and Fred Mollin finally released them in its entirety from their personal archives for this release. [New Wave/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop/Pop Rock/Rock/Glam Rock] Here is British singer/songwriter Graham Grace with his second self titled debut album: Shining Knight. An amazing AOR/New Wave album that is surprisingly pretty obscure. Its obscurity is a little shocking considering the fact that it is available on vinyl, cassette AND compact disc. Whats even more surprising is that there really isnt too much data on graham grace online. I do know his real name is Graham Gibbon and I also know that he had another album in 1975 titled Hail Me under the moniker of Grame Grace but even that album is pretty obscure. This album includes the excellent single: Follow Me Follow You (Track 1) which really should have been a hit. That really is the stand out track here along with the relatively catchy: Donna (Track 3). With that said there really isnt much more to tell about graham other than he did a music video for Follow Me Follow You (Track 1). Overall, Even though there are only eight songs on the album, they are all AOR/New Wave standouts that deserve better recognition. Curious what Graham is up to now? Hopefully we get an update one day. This album was released under Palace Records 86.

Peter Robinson. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including unused (alternate) material that didnt make it into the movie. The video also has every single song used / heard throughout the film, including the impossible to find & unbelievably rare track titled: Love Will Find A Way by Vince Carlucci. This is definitely a real treat for fans of the movie as I know people have been looking YEARS for these songs (not to mention the score as well). See a soundtrack to this movie was never officially released and over the years the film has become somewhat of a cult classic. The Gate is a 1987 horror film directed by Tibor Takács and starring Stephen Dorff (yes, Deacon Frost from the first Blade movie) in his film debut and follows two young boys who accidentally release a horde of demons from their backyard through a large hole in the ground. The film also stars Christa Denton as Al and Louis Tripp as Terrence Terry Chandler. Michael Hoenig is a German composer who is credited with a number of film and television scores, including a few other horror films some of you may be familiar with. He wrote the score for the 1988 remake of The Blob, the 1990 sci-fi/horror film Class of 1999, and the direct-to-video b-movie Dracula 3000. J. Peter Robinson is an English-born composer who has also composed scores for multiple movies and a number of notable horror movies. The films popularity at the time went on to spawn a sequel (which i personally like and cant understand why people hate it). Overall, i know that the music for this film is a gem that everyone has been looking for so i am happy to upload it and finally end this endless search once and for all. This is my personal UNRELEASED Soundtrack score for the film: Ghostbusters 2 by Randy Edelman. Let me begin by saying that this video was the hardest video that i have ever made / uploaded to my channel! Working on this audio was A PAIN!!!! Im pretty satisfied with the results but i feel i could have done better, never the less it makes me so upset that Edelman STILL hasnt officially released the scores for this film. Maybe these composed tracks were made solely for the film and it was never intended to release them (if this is the case then that is a crime). This score gets a mixed bag from ghostbusters fans, some like it/consider it one of Edelmans best efforts, and would like a score release. Some consider it irrelevant next to Elmer Bernsteins original and dont want a score release (because if its released they *have* to buy it, right?) lol. Me personally, this is easily one of Edelmans best scores ....Hands down. He doesnt use the Ghostbusters theme unfortunately but what he did write for this film was great stuff. His score was one of the best things about the movie anyway. OF COURSE Elmer Bernsteins score (from 1984 Ghostbusters) is great because ...well its Bernstein! However, you have to give Edelman some credit and it wasnt his fault the movie didnt do so hot (personally it didnt do so hot because it was up with some heavy movie competition in the summer of 1989 ...Ex: Batman). Regardless, he did his best and his score is one of the things that really worked for this film; it captured the dark mood that the director was trying to convey. All in all, its unfortunate that after all these years a score still hasnt been released and i can almost bet money that my work in this video is going to be the CLOSEST THING youll ever get to an official one. I put a lot of work into this so please enjoy ...this is for you Edelman. This complete OST soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label 89.
Please note that i tried removing all the SFX as best as i could, Anthonys Channel always strides for clean MP3s; i can assure you this video will be the only video posted with some embedded SFX, remember alot of Edelmans scores in the film are like fused with the SFXs, lol. However, most of the tracks in this video are cleaned and have no SFXs, just a few have them ...enjoy!

[New Jack Swing/R&B/Funk/Soul/Pop] Here is New Jack (RnB/Swing) artist Grady Harrell II s third and final album released in 1990 titled: Romance Me. An excellent album that unfortunately has faded away into obscurity. His voice kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson (and many fans of his have also made that connection). He originally played and worked on stage alongside with various music groups such as: Shalamar, Lakeside, and The Whispers. Apparently, Harrell was originally supposed to be the lead singer for Shalamar but in the end, R&B singer Howard Hewitt beat him out of the role. After loosing the Shalamar deal, Harrell went on to release two albums prior to this one: Mwana in 1984 by MCA Records, and Come Play With Me! in 1989 with RCA Records. Both albums did fairly well, with his second one being executive produced by the great Stevie Wonder. With that said, it is unknown how well (or if) this third album (Romance Me) performed in terms of sales and distribution. A shame because I personally think that this release is his best work. However, I do know that: Dont Turn Your Back On Me (Track 7) peaked at # 40 on Billboards Hot Black Singles chart for 10 weeks; and Patience (Track 1) peaked at # 52 on Billboards Hot R&B Singles chart, and stayed on it for at least 8 weeks. After this album, Grady spent the rest of the 90s touring with the Dazz Band and he even went on to star as Jackie Wilson in stage plays. These days, he is still doing music with his band called: Groove City. This album was released under RCA Records 90.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete film score to the legendary 1984 B-Movie Horror film: C.H.U.D. (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers) composed by Martin Cooper & David A. Hughes. This complete score was finally released on vinyl back in 2015 by Waxwork Records. For roughly 31 years an official soundtrack to this film was never released and the score material seemed almost impossible to obtain. Whats awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all extracted and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). Let me begin by saying that I couldnt thank Waxwork Records enough because this is one of my all time favorite horror synth scores (hands down!). Rolling Stone even lists this amazing score at number 33 out of 35 in their article titled: 35 Greatest Horror Soundtracks (and I couldnt agree more). If you guys are fans of early 80s synthesizer work done by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth than youll LOVE this score. Tracks like: Entering The Tunnels (Track 4), Blood Shower! (Track 17) & Cityscape (Track 18) are so symbolic to their work its almost as if they could be apart of the scores to 1981s Escape from New York or 1983s Christine. C.H.U.D. is a 1984 American science fiction horror film directed by Douglas Cheek and produced by Andrew Bonime. The title of the movie stands for: Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers but is also referred to as: Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal by some characters in the film. The plot is about a NYC police officer and a shelter manager whom discover the homeless are being taken & transformed into humanoid monsters that live below the city. Through the years, C.H.U.D has gained a devoted cult following amongst B-Movie Horror fans. The film is widely referenced in pop culture to this day via The Simpsons, Archer and more. C.H.U.D. has also served as a launching pad for a bunch of iconic actors such as: John Goodman, Daniel Stern, Kim Greist, Christopher Curry, and John Heard. Both Martin Cooper & David A. Hughes were once members of the legendary British new wave group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). Upon briefly leaving the group in 1981, Cooper and Hughes composed numerous synth instrumentals. Some of these instrumentals came to the attention of Warner Bros. whom eventually hired the two to do the score for CHUD. According to Cooper, they recorded the score at Amazon Recording Studios in Liverpool on a borrowed emulator sampler synth from OMD, and a Roland SH1. He also states that this score is quite possibly one of the earliest (if not the first!) film score to use sampling techniques as the emulator used was one of the firsts in existence. Overall, this primitive synth score composed by Martin Cooper and David Hughes is a historic collage of electronic compositions that captures the seedy, grim landscape that once embodied early 1980s New York City to its highest regard. This complete OST soundtrack score was released under Waxwork Records 2015 (84).

I recently noticed that an official soundtrack score for 1984 s Footloose has never been released to the public after all these years. Due to this, I have decided to share with you my personal custom made complete soundtrack score album to Footloose 84 (with each track in proper order from when you hear them in the film). Literally this is every single piece of score material that is found within the movie. Obviously with iconic songs like Deniece Williams s Lets Hear It For The Boy, Bonnie Tyler s Holding Out For A Hero, and Kenny Loggins s Footloose, its understandable why the movie barely had any film score. I mean ... you have to admit, the music on the official (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) album makes this movie a hit, and I am not gonna lie I sometimes watch the film just to hear the music, lol. Footloose is a 1984 American musical drama film directed by Herbert Ross and stars Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, Dianne Wiest, and John Lithgow. It tells the story of Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon), a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small town, where he attempts to overturn the ban on dancing instituted by the efforts of a local minister (John Lithgow). The film received mixed reviews from critics but became a box office hit, grossing $80 million in North America, becoming the seventh highest grossing film of 1984. Footloose is loosely based on the town of Elmore City, Oklahoma. The town had banned dancing since its founding in 1898 in an attempt to decrease the amount of heavy drinking. Miles Goodman was an American composer for television and film. He is best remembered for his frequent collaborations with film director Frank Oz, for whom Goodman scored such films as: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels(1988), What About Bob? (1991), Housesitter (1992) and Little Shop of Horrors (1986). He is also known for scoring: Teen Wolf (1985), and La Bamba (1987) with Carlos Santana. Overall, Miles Goodman s film score to Footloose delivers powerful guitar solos & orchestration motifs that truly elevate the films emotional sequences [especially with Music Box Kiss (Without Music Box) (Track 2) and Music Box Kiss (With Music Box) (Track 6)]. This complete OST soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label 84.

[Freestyle/Latin Freestyle/Dance Pop/House/Pop/Electronic] Here is Debra Torre with her one and only album titled: Step It Out. Extremely recommended for fans of Latin Freestyle music, a shame she is considered a forgotten freestyle artist because there are some great songs on this album and for that reason she deserved better credibility than what she had received. There is completely no info about her on the internet and usually when that happens its because she probably used a stage name for this album. What I can tell you is that she seemed the muse of songwriter/producer Michael Garvin and his brother Nathan. Michael wrote songs recorded by such diverse artists as George Benson, Sister Sledge, Reba McEntire, Cher and Steps, but his biggest success was as co-writer with Maria Christensen, of the song Waiting For Tonight, which was first recorded by Marias group 3rd Party and then became a hit for Jennifer Lopez in 1999. His production credits werent nearly as grand, but his work with Debra shows his production talent. Together, as simply Torré, they released the freestyle song Is It Too Late For Tomorrow for Blue Chip label in 1986. This album soon followed in 1990 and a single for Fast Lane (Track 8) was released for some strange reason in 1991 which contained 12 mixes/dubs of the track (that song also reminds me of a song that artist Veronique would perform). Also in 1990, Debra had a single for Conceal Your Love (Track 1) which sadly fell to minor dance club success on Esquire Records. Of course all of this went mostly unnoticed by the public, likely due to the inability of the small label (Esquire) to properly promote it. Tragic because it is just as good as any of the other dance pop records that were released around the time, with lots of freestyle elements, and should have got more attention. Also, the title track Step It Out (Track 5) was even written by Regina Richards, who recorded it herself but never released it. It also includes two remakes: Princes I Wanna Be Your Lover (Track 6) and Steve Arringtons (Dancing In The) Key Of Life (Track 7) ...wonder where she is now? This album was released under Esquire Records 90.

Deborah Ann Gibson is an American female singer, songwriter, producer and actress born August 31, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY while later growing up in Merrick, NY on Long Island. A child prodigy, she started writing songs when she was 5 years old, and learned record production at the age of 12. In 1987, while performing around the United States at nightclub venues, Gibson was recording what would become her debut album, Out of the Blue as well as this 12 single which in fact was edited by none other than The Latin Rascals. [AOR/Synth Pop/Dance/High Energy/HI NRG/New Wave] Here is Meri D. Marshall with her first album titled: My Obsession. These songs are all extremely 80s and while I love most of the tracks on it, a lot of them sadly arent very memorable due to how incredibly similar they all are to each other; Which is probably why her career faltered a bit and never got any major traction. One of the reasons why I really like this album is because it kind of comes off like a lost Laura Branigan or Bonnie Tyler record. I discovered that Meri released two other albums in Japan as simply Meri D. , one a 1986 re-release of this album titled: Follow Me with the song Follow Me added and Watcha Gonna Do (Track 8) omitted; The other album she put out was entitled: On Y Vas, a single for the song was also released. Now known as Meredith Marshall, the native Texan continued to write and record with many well known artists throughout the 90s and 00s (she even recorded a duet with Bruce Willis.) and was also apart of roots-rock band Zelda. Last reports that I could find say that she is living in Montreal, Canada and is still doing music. This album was released under Atlantic Records and WEA Records 85.
