A multigenerational body-swap spirals into comedic chaos in Freakier Friday (2025) as mother-daughter duo Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan) trade places with their soon-to-be daughter, stepdaughter, and granddaughter just days before a wedding.
Twenty-two years after their unforgettable first body-swap adventure, mother Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter Anna Coleman (Lindsay Lohan) find themselves facing a whole new level of chaos—and this time, it’s a four-way swap. Anna—now a savvy music producer and manager—has a teenage daughter Harper (Julia Butters), and she’s about to marry Eric (Manny Jacinto), whose fashion-forward daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons) does not get along with Harper. When a playful food-fight in class sparks tension, both duos end up at the mysterious Madame Jen (Vanessa Bayer) for palm readings. Then, after a strange earthquake only they feel, Tess and Anna wake up in Harper’s and Lily’s bodies—and vice versa.
To restore order before the wedding chaos spirals even further, they must literally walk a mile in each other’s shoes. Along the way, they learn about acceptance, empathy, and the bonds that make a family—no matter whose body you're in. Expect heartfelt laughs, nostalgic nods to the original, and the same mother-daughter magic—with a multigenerational twist.
