Franklin Cocktail was born as a riff on the CHAS Cocktail created 10 years ago by Murray Stenton in Zig Zag Cafe in Seattle. One of my regular guests requested a cocktail with Amaretto and Benedictine, so I found the CHAS and twisted the original recipe to create the Franklin Cocktail.
