A horrified mum has told how a fox sneaked into her home in London, UK and bit her three-month-old baby daughter's head as the pair slept. Carly Clarkson had dozed off while feeding little Josephine only to be woken with a start by the animal sniffing her face - before noticing blood around her baby lying beside her. She rushed to Watford General Hospital at around 9.45pm on Thursday (August 20) where it was confirmed there were no fractures to Josephine’s skull or concerns around the baby's brain. They reported what happened to Watford Borough Council and investigated what they could arrange privately, but all that could be offered were $410 (£300) pellets which may deter foxes.
