I found this nice old-looking video effect in my "Magix Movie Edit Pro 16" program and thought I'd try it. It is very interesting.
I'm using Nashville 112 amp. Boss DD-3 delay. Goodrich volume pedal. Rittenberry steel guitar. I use Tommy White's setup, except I use the Emmons pedal setup (ABC) that Lloyd Green uses, instead of the Jimmy Day (CBA) setup that Jeff Newman, Weldon Myrick and Tommy White use. I learned the ABC way, so it's awkward to change years later. For the sake of the left leg though, from overuse of the leg, I recommend the Jimmy Day setup if you're starting out. Bobby Seymour uses the Emmon's Setup, but he lowers his E's using his right leg, left knee (RKL). That works great, taking the strain off the left leg. Since lowering the E's is a common change and so also is pressing the A pedal, it strains the left leg over the years. It never bothers some people, but others it does. Also, some steel players develop lower back pain, which light leg presses at the gym and moderate exercise can remedy.
