Rando strat. This lets you skip the first key in the Koopa Bros. Fortress. Combined with some other tricks and Bombette, you can full clear the fortress without any of the keys. I'll probably make a full video of that for demonstration before too long.
The Laki Teleport to start here is the same as Water Bridge Skip. From the edge of the stairs, do a jap jump to fall, and start holding down right as Mario appears on screen. You have to anticipate it; if you react it'll be too late. If you are too late, you can let go back to neutral and respawn on the stairs and try again. If you land below, you started holding down too soon. If you land up top, you started holding down too late.
Also be careful about the switch. If you raise the stairs, you can't use this method to clip back up top.
