UPDATE: I did improve this time to 1:07.58 but the capture card failed at the beginning set of punches. This has for sure put the WR for this guy in a very awkward position. 3 months later I got it again with no buggy footage this time: youtu.be/allLJDnyjio
Deja Vu huh? Got 1 frame off for this strat now lol. My goal was 1:07.6X, the job is done but... I'm now starting to think that TAS might just be possible (1:07.58). The frame loss in this run would probably have to be the final dodge in Phase 3, or maybe it might be a combo of stun punches that added up to 0.06 exactly w/out me realizing idk.
Plus he didn't release the bogus yet in this run or my last run :(
The next IL to push would probably be Title Defense Bald Bull since I would love to get a time of 42.6X, although there is a chance that I might still stick with this and if I know I can't get TAS then I will move on. But I'm going to keep trying...

![[Former World Record] Punch-Out!! (Wii) - TD Super Macho Man (1:08.66)
UPDATE: With Mysteryman95 finding a new strat, I improved the WR to 1:07.58 (It matches the TAS!). You can check it out here: https://youtu.be/allLJDnyjio
The 1:08.6X barrier on Macho is finally here! And to be honest I didnt think it would be here this early since my goal was just to get something like 1:08.72 considering this fight has 27 total frame perfect inputs which is the most of not just the TD fights but in the entire game!
It really was a pain to improve this IL since the worst inputs for me were the dodge after getting knocked down and the final taunt, both of which were at the end making it heartbreaking to lose good runs to it.
TAS for this fight is 1:08.60 and I have no idea where I lost the frame nor do I care because of how satisfied I am with this time.
I honestly dont know what to do next, improving TD Sandman would be a daredevil move, TD Soda I am trying to hold off for as long as I can so I can clear my head on the fight. So I guess the final 2 contender fights and TD Bull would be good options but they arent much better in all honesty haha.

UPDATE: Lixunis found a 1 frame save (9.01), and I matched it again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Ay7qlB3as
So I thought I was done with NTSC ILs, and I am pretty sure a lot of people who got 16/16 thought the same thing. But Lixunis has proved us wrong by presenting us with a fight that has doubled the inputs (6 total) and RNG. This to me is bizarre considering Mad Clown hasnt had a strat update for 15 years. And this new strat only saves 1 frame lol.
Murakuma was the only one to do it but then McHazard came back around and switched up the strategy so it requires 1 less input (which is what I obv used) zallard1 and Cranklinson were the next set of people to do it, and here I am coming in 4th.
The 9.05 strat for Clown was pretty simple to get the hang of but this strat... is FAR worse since Clowns RNG is now heavier and the 5 frame perfect inputs in this fight make this probably the new hardest IL to do (Discluding Narcis).
Took 15 Frame Perfect Phase 1s to finally get P2 to work with me. Despite this being new and refreshing to do, I still hate it. Took me forever to do even though this was something I shouldve closed off at least a couple of days ago.
Back to 16/16 again, Gonna go back to PAL lol. [NTSC Former World Record] Super Punch-Out!! - Mad Clown (00903)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/wjIyWoLcN28/mqdefault.jpg)

![[PAL Tied World Record] Super Punch-Out!!- Masked Muscle (00632)
Very easy IL to get, only 2 inputs with light rng. It was also nice to always be able to buffer Phase 2 low super without wasting a frame in Phase 1.
Not really much else to say, Ill be uploading Bear soon! [PAL Tied World Record] Super Punch-Out!!- Masked Muscle (00632)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xbu_gP1C1Wg/mqdefault.jpg)

![[Former World Record] Punch-Out!! (Wii) - TD Disco Kid (0:21.77)
UPDATE: JacobYoshi found an even faster strat and I matched the new TAS (0:20.93), you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAyFmYn3cF8&t
Ok, this will probably be my last Td Disco Kid video because, with this improvement, I was able to match the TAS time (0:21.77). I say probably because although Mysteryman95 just TASed it, he is going to double-check it again to see if its actually the limit. EDITED: 21.77 actually is the limit so yay no more td disco.
TAS for this fight was originally 22.58 for a couple of years, that all changes today. I and Andy went strat hunting on TD Disco Kid because we both believed that there could be something faster for this guy... We almost gave up because we were running out of options but then I thought lets try skipping his first taunt. I tested this and I was able to come up with this strat that gets a sub-22.
Ill explain the fight in detail for those who havent seen the last video, probably going to put the previous video (0:21.83) on private now because I dont want to clutter my channel with disco kid videos haha
This fight requires 15 frame-perfect inputs. It also requires motion controls so you can have access to lefty stars. The first 2 punches of the fight are buffered. The first one is canceling his taunt and the second one is intercepting his straight jab. While he is reeling to the right, hook him with a right gut punch for a star. After that you need to slightly delay your left gut punch so he goes into his hook. Counter the hook with a right gut punch and while Disco is reeling to the left, hook him with a left gut punch for a second star and buffer the lefty 2-star punch.
After the lefty star punch he goes into his 2 straight jabs, all of which you intercept with a left gut punch and while he is reeling, hit him with a right gut punch to receive a star. Make sure you do this twice so you have 2 stars in your inventory. (This is all not buffered btw) Once you received your 2nd star buffer another lefty star punch.
While he comes back once again, hell do a straight jab; once again you will intercept with a left gut punch and while he is reeling you do a right gut punch to earn a star. Then provoke him with a left gut punch (this is not buffered) so hell go into this hook, intercept that with a right gut punch and thats a knockdown.
For Phase 2, its the same as the 22.58 strat; All you need to do is counter his taunt, do a delayed gut punch, then do a very slightly delayed triple star punch into his disco flurry, which KOs him
