160. Sept. 21, 2024. On September 16, 2024, former Executive Director of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation was charged with 19 felony theft charges involving misappropriation of hundreds of thousands of dollars of Foundation funds stemming from the years 2018 through 2022. In lieu of being arrested, Kovach was issued a summons to appear in court, first hearing on October 28, 2024. The LVMPD state the case is still under investigation. Mentioned in this episode:
