Running2Write | Formatting Manuscripts with Reedsy | Authortube @Running2Write | Uploaded October 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
TLDR: This is a how-to for how I formatting my manuscript with Reedsy.
As someone who had far too many editors who all customized and formatted my manuscript differently, Reedsy was the only way I was able to successfully publish my novel. Some of the page layouts the editors insisted were required for submitting the manuscript were nearly impossible to undo and I lost a lot of important formatting when I tried, such as italics for character's internal thoughts. Tonight is a quick summary of what I've learned in using Reedsy. I hope it helps you keep from getting more gray hairs, like I did when stressing out over normalizing my manuscript. Now, I have a great process thanks to Reedsy to track editor changes and mantain a format which can be published.
