How to format Hard drive Partitions with CMD (command prompt). Advanced method to format Hard Disk partitions by using command prompt.

Working Method.
On windows 10 computer you can access the command prompt tool by right clicking on the windows start menu icon. There are two choice to open the command prompt window. One is the regular mode, and another one is administrative mode. For this procedure, we have to access the command prompt in administrative mode. If you are using windows 7 or any other version, then just type the cmd on the windows search. And run the tool as administrative. Now, enter the commands. First command is DiskPart. and just hitting enter key in the keyboard. It will start diskpart prompt on the command. Now type "List Disk" it will show up the disks that are using on the computer. You can see the connected disks. Choose the disk that you want to locate the drive partition. If the disk is 0 then type " select Disk 0". and hit enter. And you can see the Disk 0 is the now selected disk message. after that type the "list volume" command. It will show up all partitions of the computer. From here, select the drive partition that you want to reinstate or rebuild. For example if it is volume 8, type select volume 8 and hit enter key. And next command is "clean", this will clear all data from the selected volume.

And now we have to recreate the volume part. for that type the following command "Create part pri". and hit enter. diskpart will be create the specified partition. And type "active" to activate the partition. And the next command is for formatting the portion. type
"Format fs=NTFS lable=? quick ". Hit enter key. Final command is "assign letter=? " and exit the diskpart.
