We have all sorts of fears, joys, expectations, and views in our minds. Wise people often say that we see what we want to see. That reality is just a reflection of our own mind. Later, we often realize how our perception deceived us, how reality is actually different. The Wanderer is no exception.

We often play a game of life, based on our own thoughts. We create our roles and we see them as something given, something the world gave us, our destiny. What else can we do when we find out that all is void? That all these games of our lives are like children playing in the sandbox. All we can do then is laugh.

Fun fact: I actually got something stuck in my foot, probably a thorn when shooting the scenes at the old military bunker. That gave me the idea to record the scene where the Wanderer pulls it out. I mean, this is the price for not wearing shoes, right?
