Sometimes I pre-germinate grass seed in a wheelbarrow with a little topsoil to jumpstart tough bald spots in the lawn. After 3–4 days of keeping it moist, the seeds usually sprout — that’s the sweet spot!
But this time… I forgot about it. 🤦‍♂️
Came back days later to find it already growing in the wheelbarrow! Not ideal, but I’m still going to put it down and see what happens. It’s a good reminder: timing matters!
Tip: When done right, you’ll see new grass in just 5–7 days after spreading.

Just don’t let it turn into a mini lawn before you even get it on the ground!
