You can reset the temporary flag of the basement wall position by hitting the loading trigger for the Forest Temple main room when riding the elevator.
This might save 2-3 seconds for glitchless or restricted categories but someone else should do an accurate comparison first.
The videos are synced up at the activation of the second switch (where the routes split). The time difference in the video is more than 3 seconds because I had worse movement on the left side.
left side: push wall clockwise twice
right side: ride the elevator to reset the basement state, touch the floor of the elevator once it went all the way up
