I was playing around with a simple chase mechanic where the enemy speeder follows you but if he catches up to you he speeds off and then another one comes right behind, repeating the chase. I also added a laser shot for the first player to shoot at the fleeing enemy.
I am thinking that if the enemy catches up to you I will make them kind of attack you hand-to-hand reducing your health so you got to get away. I imagine a lot of exploding enemies with how quick the trees move. I may make the speeder bounce from hitting the tree, similar to how the bicycle bounces when hitting a car in Pizza Boy.
I also noticed that on my tablet the framerate for the video capture sometimes drops to 20 FPS or below but the flicker and choppiness is definitely not there in 60 FPS animation...
