If your Ford Kuga keeps displaying the Navigation error:

"Vehicle is off the map. Please insert the appropriate storage."

even though you don't use the car's built-in navigation, this video shows how to get rid of the annoying message.

The problem occurs when the navigation system doesn't have the appropriate map data for the vehicle's current location. If you don't use the built-in navigation, you may not want to spend money on a new navigation SD card or create/update one just to stop the warning.

In this video I show the simple solution I used to remove the "Vehicle is off the map" navigation error and stop the message from appearing.

This can be useful if:
• You don't use the built-in Ford navigation
• You use your phone with Google Maps, Waze or another navigation app instead
• You don't want to buy a new navigation SD card
• You don't want to create your own navigation card with current map data
• You simply want to stop the recurring navigation warning

The solution is intended for people who don't need the factory navigation system. If you actually use the built-in navigation, updating the appropriate map data would be the better solution.
