➡️Ford quietly built a naturally aspirated 5.8-liter V10 Mustang prototype 25 years ago by stretching its Modular V8 by two cylinders, then all but forgot about it. Now the Heritage Fleet has recommissioned the one-off with help from the original engineering team, replacing aging electronics and reviving systems untouched for decades. Once everything worked, they did the only sensible thing and strapped it to a dyno, where the old pony laid down more than 510 horsepower at the wheels, stronger than it ever was.
