Wow.... I have 1000 subs! I can't believe there are actually 1000 people out there who actually enjoy watching my work. I'm so happy. When I look back at some of my old vids, I think about how much I used to suck. But I guess everyone has to start somewhere. I think I've improved a lot since then and with every vid I make I get better. I want to thank you guys for all of your support. Knowing that people like my AMVs is what has encouraged me to keep making them. So I dedicate this AMV to all my subscribers. Thank you! ♥ "cause I'm here for your entertainment" LOL

So it's Tamaki vs. Lelouch vs. Kei vs. Zero vs. Ikuto. Phew... that's a lot of vs. lol. Who do you think is the best? These are some of my fav guy characters, so I decided to make a vid with them. This AMV took me forever to make. Masking is EVIL, but Chroma Keyer really comes in handy! And then when I was rendering it, it kept glitching and it wouldn't let me render it. But I finally finished it and was able to render it. I love this song by Adam Lambert, and I thought it would be perfect for this kind of vid. I worked really hard on this AMV, so I hope you all enjoy it.

This was the AMV I decided to submit for Japan Expo this year. At first I wasnt really happy with it. When I first showed people betas of it, I didnt really get good feedback for it, so I dropped it for awhile. But I decided to pick it up again and just finish it anyway.... sooooo I hope its still enjoyable XDD
So I guess Ill briefly explain the plot: Its about a guy whos struggling to get over the death of a girl he was with. She died due to an illness and now he is haunted by memories and thoughts of her. He has so much difficulty coping with the past that he cant even accept new relationships. Its not until he can finally come to terms with her death and move on, that he finds happiness again.

I made this AMV for the Souls Team IC contest. Luna asked me to join her team for this IC contest and I happily joined. I and the rest of my team(J.I.L. Team: JazzsVids, LunaAmv, A3Inaya) had 3 days to make our own individual AMVs. I was entering in the Fun category. Um... its supposed to be a funny amv, but I fail at comedy, but I loved the song choices that we had to choose from. Well this is what I have after 3 days of work XD yup! I failed ...

Its been awhile. I havent felt suuuper motivated to edit AMVs right now. This just kind of came out of nowhere, but I enjoyed working on it. It was a fun little crossover project. I hope you guys like it! :) And I hope you guys still enjoy seeing videos from me. Its a huge motivator to why I still make them.
As per usual, I havent completely watched this anime, Platinum End. I know when I heard it announced, I was excited about it because it was written by the same guy who wrote Death Note (a series that I adore ... who doesnt). But I watched the first 2 episodes, and it was kind of lame. I dont think its worth me finishing. It did have a few scenes interesting enough for me to feel inspired to edit something with it though. But very very few. I had to crossover another anime because there just wasnt enough material for me to use.
Not sure why all the videos I make these days are so dark and gloomy. I really really REEEALLY want to edit something fun again though. Its been too long since Ive revisited that genre. Give me ideas! I swear, Im going to make it my goal for my next video to be fun. No death. No blood. No saddness hahahaha.
Oh and random - today is my moms birthday. 😂 I will not be sharing this video with her, and I hope she doesnt see it. Hi mom.

Soooo this is just one of those Halloween AMVs that didn’t get finished in time hahaha (you know, the usual), so here we are, 4 months later :’D … this wasn’t meant to be like a big project or anything. I heard this song remix on the Trap Nation YT channel, and was like bruhhh this is bomb I need to edit it. I had this anime already on my computer and I’d been wanting to edit with it forever. It just kind of came together naturally. I know this source is a bit overused now, but I hope I was able to make it feel a little fresh for you guys. This Kizumonogatari trilogy is just like, pure art, it’s so beautifully animated. I personally cannot get tired of seeing AMVs with this anime (or any Monogatari AMVs).
I wanted to emphasize the vampire aspects of the anime, starting with the character getting bitten, turning into a vampire, adjusting to new abilities (and a new appetite). I feel this AMV would be most interesting to someone who is not familiar with the source (which if you watch AMVs, I’m sure that’s kind of impossible). But if anyone out there watching this is seeing this source for the first time, tell me in the comments your first impression of the AMV and how it made you feel. I’m most interested in those first-time reactions hahaha. Like, I love when I’m watching an AMV, and I’m seeing the anime source for the first time, and like the AMV just makes it seem so much cooler than the actual anime probably is. Sooo Ill probably have to share this with my brother to receive that kind of clean unbiased reaction (because he doesn’t really watch anime haha).
I know Twixtor is like that new thing. I wanted to learn it, but I’m just a too f*cking lazy old skool amv editor. I’ve watched tutorials and sh*t on how to use it, and it just looks like too much damn work to make it look good. I don’t have time for all that. So being a lazy editor, I was playing around with an effect in AE that actually adds motion blur in between repeated frames, and I have to say, it does make the animation flow smoother (even though the original source is already incredibly smooth). But still, that was one new effect I learned while working on this that may come in handy for future projects. It’s like Twixtor for lazy people haha...maybe? kinda? it probably doesnt compare.
Anyways, Happy New Years guys and girls! I hope you can enjoy this little thing I’ve made, my first AMV of the new year. Hopefully with more to come. Maybe even a collaboration….? :) . . .
