At DarkCon a Dark Sun Convention for D&D fans, Ryder Ford is running 1, 8-hour game called Fort Dune.

Ryder's description of his game is as follows.
Strange happenings have fallen upon the quaint desert outpost of Fort Dune. The earth itself peeled open into tenebrous tunnels and holes. Plagued by omens and visions, Elder Motima marched down into the tunnels and returned forever changed. Worse yet, she was the only survivor save for an 'Und-Kreen' stranger. The town has no choice but to gather what little help remains and venture into the tunnel-lands. ...Or who knows what will emerge out from the shadows of Fort Dune.

DarkCon is the world’s only in person Dark Sun convention. It will be a weekend of Dark Sun games and events. There will be Dark Sun Games of many editions and systems. AD&D 1e, AD&D 2e, D&D 3.5e, D&D 5, Old School Essentials, and ShadowSun a Shadow Dark conversion of Dark Sun.
Our Special Guest is Greg Christopher. He will be giving away 100 copies of his 130-page ShadowSun quick Start rules. The first 100 people with a 2-day pass will receive these.
There will also be a world record braking game of Dark Sun run by Jason O’Mahony. 100+ players will compete as gladiators until only one lives.
Lastly, we will test your Dark Sun knowledge with a game of Dark Sun Jeopardy. The winner will be declared the Sage Supreme of Dark Sun for 2026.
