Hey all!!
Today we start with a new series around explosions! Whoohoo! :D
Anime battles and explosions are truly some areas where the medium comes into it's own and movies like The Wind Rises and Porco Rosso demonstrate this to a T. I also personally love SAO.
In this tutorial I do use my free seamless noise texture, which you can find here:
blendswap.com/blend/28805
Tutorial file here:

Overlay:
istockphoto.com/video/anime-shockwaves-overlay-gm1742239331-542857811
The idea is to go as follows:
1) Shockwave
2) Cloud
3) Nuclear
I don't know how exhaustive each of these will be, but I've wanted to make this series for a VERY long time and getting to do it is so cool! I hope you find these helpful and that you continue to like share and all those great things!
Have a great one!

![For Anime in Blender - Course Sprinkler [Tutorial]
Hey all!
https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/exterior/landscape/for-anime-in-blender-course-sprinkler
Time for another tutorial and it covering something of a missing item in anime (at least as far as I have seen). The last time I recall a sprinkler in a movie was in Bolt where there was one of those harp-style ones that swivel. Even when I did research for reference I couldnt find any. Im really puzzled by it. I did some searching and I found that the Japanese do have sprinklers for farmland, but I think the fact that its such an urban landscape, that they simply dont feature, because theyre not all that much of an occurrence. Do you know any shows where sprinkers feature? Leave a comment below!
Because when I didnt find any anime sprinklers (apart from fire ones), I had to find another approach. I had to check out similar elements and how water is handled in general and piece by piece we got this!

![For Anime - Adoration Sparks [TUTORIAL] (Blender 2.92)
Hey all!
Tool version of this effect available on my CGT:
https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scripts-plugins/rendering/for-anime-adoration-sparkles-post-processing-nodegroup
Here is the tutorial!! Keon Boozar from the NPR group specifically requested a tutorial for this, as well as Lightman Leaf (YouTube comments). I havent done tutorials in a very long time, not because I havent wanted to, but circumstances were a major issue. Not just that, but I was also struggling on how to approach them in a better way.
Tutorials are often monkey see, monkey do, but I know my audience is smarter than that, so I wanted to up my own game. So, instead of focusing on a result, I focus on the journey - the tools that gets us to the result and WHY they work.
For those of you who were so supportive of the demo video, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You rock!!
My apologies for the audio. I have a much better mic, but I dont have an arm thatll help. I want to do some tests - to see if I cant dampen the contact noise, but for now, this is unfortunately as clean as I can get it, lol. Youll still get it. For my voice over demos:

Thank you so much for watching! The LORD JESUS bless you and help you immensely as you grow personally and in learning blender!
