Hey all!
This was kinda like an extra model for decor in the king's room in Esther 6, but it never really got any screen time. I LOVED how it looked, so felt like I should add it to my catalogue on CGTrader!

Minor changes include removing the twisting on the ears of the cups and the longer parts of the pot. I also changed the engraving from procedural, to a texture. This enables obj, fbx, dae, gltf and other formats to also use it effectively. And, there are saucers added, sugar as well as a spoon!
You really get one awesome awesome tea set in this model! LOVED making it!
Some uses for a model like this:
- Character conversations
- Quiet contemplation
- Scene decor for a more Eastern feel
- Show-piece for an insert shot

Here is the tutorial!! Keon Boozar from the NPR group specifically requested a tutorial for this, as well as Lightman Leaf (YouTube comments). I havent done tutorials in a very long time, not because I havent wanted to, but circumstances were a major issue. Not just that, but I was also struggling on how to approach them in a better way.
Tutorials are often monkey see, monkey do, but I know my audience is smarter than that, so I wanted to up my own game. So, instead of focusing on a result, I focus on the journey - the tools that gets us to the result and WHY they work.
For those of you who were so supportive of the demo video, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You rock!!
