Especially loved doing this vocal cover. This song is so well constructed. I've appreciated the Foo Fighters from afar, never owning any of the albums but enjoying them whenever their music was on around me. Dave Grohl is an amazing writer and performer and his dudes seem like they really align in friendship and music. Odd side story, I was at a house party one night in LA and was looking at the exotic instruments around the house. Just a few. What looked like African stringed bass guitars. And also appreciating the beautiful cars in the garage. To the casual observer it was pretty sleek, clean and unassuming for the decor. I found out I was in the Foo's bass guitarist Nate Mendel's house. That's about as far as that story goes. It's a little something from nothing. lol.
