I was visiting Boulder and picked up the local paper that announced that Coldplay were playing that night in Denver during their first US tour. Back in Canada, only the single "Yellow" was released and the only song I knew. But I loved it. I drove to Denver right away and bought a ticket. It was June 13, 2001. I heard their album Parachutes being played for the first time. It was such a polished show. I don't typically sing Coldplay songs but found this instrumental and gave it a go. This is my vocal cover of Viva La Vida.
