You expected C89 releases, but it was me, Floating Cloud! ...You know, beginning a description like that sounds awfully familiar somehow. Makes a fellow wonder, now does it. ...Stop looking at me like that, please.
...*ahem* That extremely suspicious way of beginning a description aside, let's start things for real now, shall we?
So I've been having a dilemma of sorts lately, what with so many different albums coming out along with so many interesting tracks and genres flowing and flowing endlessly from the eternal spring of woe that we call Comiket. Problem is, I actually can't choose. Sounds like an average issue, I know. And it is an average issue, no denying that part. The thing is the fact that there's a huge amount of Piano/Instrumental/soothing goodness on the Touhou side this time around, and while I'm quite contented by that fact, there's the problem that I feel like it will become a bit redundant if I upload four or even five Piano tracks in succession. Sure, I know that a lot of you people probably wouldn't even be bothered by that, but I feel like I need to keep a certain diversity in my schedules, both for those that like it diverse, and for myself who wants to upload a variety of different genres.
This in turn made me turn myself toward this circle here. I realized that I hadn't uploaded from them yet, plus it's been a while since I uploaded any Folk, so it was a welcomed idea for my mind. Let's just say that it works as a way to fill in a hole while I try to scratch my head a bit further to find at least a few C89 tracks to share.
Of course, saying that Floating Cloud only is here to fill holes would be a huge understatement, that and an absolute insult as well. I've been meaning to upload from these guys for quite a while now, but the usual dilemma of worries and such didn't give me the occasion to do so. You won't find Folk as fine as this, plainly put. It's on a whole different scale than most, only on competition with the likes of O-LIFE JAPAN and a few other candidates. There's just something so fresh with their tracks, and I can proudly admit that I've never been disappointed in them in all the years that I've known them, which is a pretty enormous feat I'd say. Each albums is like a welcomed fresh breeze of wind, which enters your lungs (or ears, whatever) and then smoothly escapes while leaving you with a most satisfied expression.
Anyway. I'd like to address a matter regarding my choice of tracks here. It's not my favourite track. That honour goes to the seventh track, which was a pretty neat arrangement of Demystify Feast that made me tap my feet like these times where we go to these legendary Sap houses. The reason why I gave this track a go instead is quite simple; this theme is underrated. Awfully so. It's by no means a fantastic theme, and I used to feel that way pretty intensely only but recently. After a lot of exposure to it, however, I just came to enjoy it. It's festive, happy, and it just manages to give me a smile. And this arrangement made me even better, which just inclined me to go and upload the thing. Oh, and also there's not enough Ten Desires on this channel, and I shall remedy to this blasphemy in due time. This is only but the first step.
Anyway, I suppose that I'm done here. It was a fun upload to work on, and the music gave me tons of needed optimism. The picture also seems fitting, so I'm in overall satisfied.
I'll try my best to upload some C89 content in the near future, but don't jump your guns yet. Maybe that it'll come once the event is drying out, who knows... Take care, people.

Death is a concept that we humans tend to want to escape from. We fear it, not only because it is scary and ominous, but also because of the fact that we know nothing about it. There is nothing scarier for us humans than something that we cannot run from.
I wonder how Death is sometimes. Its a fascinating concept, especially considering that we dont know where well end up. Some say that we simply disappear, while others believe in Heaven. So many possibilities, and yet no one will be able to be alive to tell the tale. I suppose that this is one mystery that well never quite understand, no matter how technology and knowledge advance. Humans are not meant to know everything, perhaps.
You know, working on this upload made me realize that I havent shared any PCB in ages. I have no clue how I managed to do that, but it actually happened. Last one was a year ago, can you even believe that? I guess that I wasnt kidding when I said that there wasnt any PCB on the menu for a while, huh.
So anyway, a few days ago I found this absolutely amazing Metal album from a Circle that I never heard about before. I tried it, and ended up falling from my chair. This is possibly the best Metal album that Ive listened to in actual years, minus the already known ones such as Demetori or Xi-On. This genre has grown back on me lately, so I figured that I needed to upload some Metal. Plus, it was PCB related, so that hits two bird with one stone.
I cant stress enough how great I find this track to be. It just defines everything that made me love Border of Life since forever, and makes it even better. It sounds serene, and yet has a hint of danger and killing intents. I wonder if Death is a bit like that, now that I think about it. Butterflies certainly arent scary, but when you put Death along in the mix, its pretty different eh?
Of course, thats not the only reason why Im uploading this track in particular. It just so happens that today is the Birthday of a certain someone whos well known around town. Thats right; today is the Birthday of our little Yama.
I was curious to see which track she liked most between this and NecroFantasia, which to my surprise wasnt the ladder. I always imagined that she loved NecroFantasia a lot, so it was pretty surprising. Ah well, I prefer Border of Life as well myself, so I wont be the one complaining there.
I figured that you would enjoy some good quality Metal, so I went and tried to find the best that I could with what time I had. Im glad to say that this little search was a fruitful success, and I believe that youll enjoy my choice.
Happy Birthday, dear. I wish you the best for this important day, along with love and chance. Sixteen is a pretty important number in life, so you need to make the most of it and be proud of it!
All in all, Im really proud of this upload here, especially pictures-wise. It was harder than I expected, but I think that it was worth it. I hope that you folks will enjoy as usual. See you in the next Paradise...

The witch was sitting on a little hill near her house, with the wind strongly blowing toward her way. Shed been feeling a bit odd recently, so she just thought that taking a good fresh breath could possibly help her calm down a bit. Her feelings were mixed, almost somewhat confused. Her life didnt change in the slightest ever since a few years now, and yet she felt a big uneasy ache in her heart... As if something was missing. Perhaps that it was a syndrome of a Magicians Melancholy?
Two weeks already huh... Just when I thought about taking a little break, it ended up being the longest one yet. Im not exactly sure why it happened, but for a while I almost thought about quitting uploading. Each time I tried to create a video, my will instantly evaporated, and I ended up glancing at my screen with nothing to do. It wasnt pleasant in the slightest, that I assure you.
That aside, I actually had a lot of fun making this upload. When I realized that my determination was still with me after fifteen minutes, I knew that I would finally start uploading again. For the occasion, I decided to pick an arrangement that I hold quite dear, and I did my best to make a worthy video after these two weeks of absence.
You know... I find it really sad that there is such a lack of arrangements of this theme. I know that its a ZUN CD theme that not many folks have listened to, and I also know that it somewhat falls short compared to Marisas other themes, but... This track is so sweet. Its so emotional, and has a very present hint of melancholy and sadness in it, which is a rather unusual aspect of Marisa.
I always pictured Marisa as a girl who takes a lot of place and is eccentric, while also being rude and not the kindest of souls out there. Her presence is both wanted yet unwanted, and her attitude could be described as bothering and cynical, while also having a certain warm to it. But, under that happy-go-lucky girl hides a person who is sad, conflicted and has low-esteem of herself. Shes not exactly superficial, since Im convinced that she doesnt do it to please others or to look good for them, but rather that shes trying to deny her weaknesses. Shes a hard-worker, but shed never want anyone to know that; since that makes her feel like shes trying to become strong, something that shes convinced to be already.
Id also want to enter into the Mima/Marisa duo for a bit, since thats a bit of an important part for me. So, we know that Marisa once worked for Mima, as either an apprentice or a minion. We dont know much about how they interacted with each others, nor do we know how they even met. In my canon, Mima discovered Marisa after she decided to go away from her home. She sensed a certain lack of love in her mind, and while she initially didnt care much, she still decided to take her in after hearing how the little girl wished to learn magic to become stronger. After a while, the two started to create a certain link together. Not a mother/daughter relationship, but more of a mentor/student one instead. Marisa wanted to learn and grew to have a certain esteem of her mentor, while Mima started to realize that she had a real lack of social interactions and felt that Marisa was important to her.
I wont go into details for today, but I honestly find it charming how the two just seemed to fit together. That makes me wonder why Marisa decided to change sides in the first place. Was it because she never really felt anything for her mentor in the first place? Was it because she just wants to side with the strong? Or is it perhaps because she didnt want to go too deep in her relationships? We wont really know the answer, alas. Thats up to us to interpret, I suppose.
Anyways, I think that I wrote a bit too much there. If youve read all this pointless brick, then I congratulate you. You now understand my deep and very philosophical way that I consider Marisa and Mima to be. Man, that sounds so self-centered.

Once in a while, it is said that three fairies come around and prank unsuspecting strangers. Of course, it occasionally fails and they sometimes end up beaten on the side of the road, unconscious.
This time Ill write this description based on personal experience. Or rather, Im going to write about how I got into Touhou from the mangas, more specifically. For those who dont care about that, you are more than free to skip this wall of text and move on toward the end of the description if you wish to acquire the pertinent information.
...For those who insists on staying, you can pour yourself a cup of tea on the right, along with a few cookies on the table. Its on the house, so dont mind it and just pick a few. What kind of host would I be otherwise?
Well then... Lets begin. It was a few years ago, back in 2010 I believe. At that time, I already had knowledge of Touhou, but it was very limited, and the most that I knew was who Flandre was or that there existed a Netherworld somewhere in the vast land called Gensokyo. My interest was more shifted toward the music, and I held little to no interest whatsoever to the characters or the lore. It was a rather one-sided interest, you could say, and I felt unsatisfied with that. Of course, all of that changed when I realized that there was a manga adaptation of the franchise, and that I also heard that it was focused on characters that were not related to the shrine maiden (which ended up being true yet false information, but anyway).
Im still amazed at how easily Touhou grabbed my attention and focus, even after all these years. Im a person with high standards, and most of my interests end up dying after only but a year or two at best.
However, Touhou was different. How the characters interacted, how consistent the lore was, how everything just had that very light atmosphere, full of fun and wonders, almost like these shows for kids where adventure knows no limit... I felt right at home, and oh boy, did I never expect to delve so deep into this crazy mess of beautiful bullets and amazing content.
Right at the first chapter, I knew that it was going to be something. Fairies that play pranks on people? I never heard about anything like that before! Sounds interesting. What kind of mess will they make next? With that, it was already done. I read through the many chapters in a single sitting, something that I hadnt done for a while, and felt fully satisfied. Satisfied, and yet, I needed more.
Thats where it all came down, and from there, I just started to search about the many characters, the areas... And ended up totally immersed. After that came the many jokes, the not-so-funny content, and of course, the uploading scene.
Thats really about it. My love for the franchise only kept growing, and I came to realize that I had nobody to talk about it, which in the end incited me to start going at places where people spoke about it naturally. That place where people spoke about it so casually ended up becoming the uploading scene for me, and another love even deeper grew afterwards.
I will cut it there for now, since even though I would absolutely love to keep talking about it, descriptions are limited, and even those who wished to read through this might get bored after a while.
A little segment dedicated to the track now, if you dont mind. I went and choose this track starting for the sole reason that it fitted my monologue in my head, followed by the frightening fact that I didnt upload any dBu whatsoever on this channel, which is a shame that I had to remedy. Its not their best by any means, but the piano is an instrument that truly manages to make me write a lot, and well, it admittedly sounds somewhat nostalgic, so it was perfect.
With all that being said, I do hope that you enjoy as usual, and for those who went through all this wall, please deposit your cups on the table.

In the depths of Hell lies a cat. In fact, this cat can take the shape of a human girl, and can shift back and forth into both forms if so she wishes. Her job is to collect souls, and bring the leftovers to their place.
Greetings everyone. Its night here, and while I should go to bed now, I decided to upload a song for you folks before doing so.
If theres something that you wont see often here, its Electronic music. I dont fancy the genre at all, but that certainly doesnt mean that Electronic arranges never manage to grab my attention. This one here is quite unique, since it mixes Electro and Traditional together, which is very interesting. The beat is constant, repetitive, and simply puts me into an upbeat trance. For some it might get old, but I find it absolutely fantastic.
Ive known this circle and its albums for a long time now, and I never seemed to give enough attention to all the tracks. So, today in class, I gave a full-through listen to the entire album, and came to realize that some of the tracks were a lot more to my liking than I thought. I avoided the Electronic tracks, only by judging by the genre, which isnt a fair critic. This track here gave me such a high impression, that I looped it at least eleven times since this morning.
Im not certain if the picture fits all that nicely, but I consider it good enough for my standards. Its one of my favourites arts of Rin, after all.
I do hope that you will all enjoy this one as per usual, and do expect some more from KoR soon.

The Misty Lake was as clean and peaceful as ever, with the beautiful reflection giving both humans and Youkai something to think about. Mist was floating above the lake, covering the horizon with a faint haze. It certainly was mysterious, but since its been like this forever, it seems that it was nothing strange after all.
Greetings everyone. It certainly has been a while once again, eh... Sure is crazy to see that were already in July. Time flies by so fast, I cant believe it. I mean, my birthday is in a month and a few days now, and yet it feels like my last birthday was only but recently. They say that time passes quickly when youre young, and slowly starts to slow down once you get older. I guess that it has something to do with our own lifestyle and organism, perhaps.
I went to visit my aunt over at the countryside a few days ago, and man did it feel nice to breath such clean air. It really felt like my lungs were feeling a bit lighter, and the sensation made me want to stay there forever. Of course, since I still cant walk properly, I couldnt exactly have the full experience of it all, but simply staying on the balcony watching the trees and eating made my day nonetheless. Were also considering going back there for vacations in August, so Im definitely looking forward to that.
Ive been meaning to upload this track for a while now, though I havent done so for one odd reason or another. It sure feels weird to see the lack of RD-Sounds on this channel, so I figured that I should go and fill that void. When I think about it, there are a couple of circles that I havent shared here, huh... TAMUSIC and O-Life Japan being two main examples, along with a few others.
I really love this track. It makes me feel like Im laying near the lake, thinking about many things while watching the faint haze float around. Its a pretty interesting feeling, and it felt appropriate enough to share this after visiting the countryside.
On a side note, Id like to mention that I actually made a side channel a few weeks ago, and since I felt like it was worth leaving a little spot about it, Ill go ahead and promote it by myself for myself (good business practice eh).
Its nothing special, and chances are that it wont become anything special either. I mostly created it as a back-up alternative, which means that I havent thought much further than that. Perhaps that Ill upload some occasional content such as Touhou 1CC clears or whatnot, with nothing specific in mind. Diverse System is a circle that I consider to be a main part of my integration into the Touhou world. I first stumbled upon them back in 2010 when I was searching for some soothing music to listen to before going to bed. I started to get interested into Touhou near the end of 2008, but I got immersed in it only in 2009 - 2010 or so. Lets just say that listening to Kakashis first Acoustic upload really started everything for me, and that very upload just happened to be from Diverse System. Ever since then, Ive been on a quest to find new music, to add to my personal library and make it something satisfying. Something that I will be able to look at years later and still remember everything.
Regarding this track... I really cannot say anything. Its so close to my heart, Ive listened to it for so long and so many times, and yet, I never tire of it. Theres a certain aspect to it that simply adds so much to the song, its almost unreal. I can picture Eirin and Kaguya walking through the Bamboo Forest, glancing upon the million of stars above them, making them remember from where they come from. It is quite a touching scene in my mind, and I tried my best to show it with my choice of picture.
Did I ever mention how much I love Eirin and Kaguya? As a pair, I mean. Not a pair of love, but rather a pair of loyalty. No matter where Kaguya goes, Eirin follows. Its almost like a princess and her knight. At the same time, Eirin acts a bit like her carer, which is rather sweet in a way. Both are trying to escape from their sins, and both help each others to try and live with the deep and cruel truth. These two score high in my list, probably somewhere along with Sakuya and Meiling and the Prismriver Sisters.
I certainly do hope that you will all enjoy as per usual... Watch as the beautiful scenery of stars draw their beauty even further.
Oh, and before ending this description, Id like to give a shot-out to this artist. Their drawings are quite beautiful. Youll see me use a lot of these.

So Ive heard that it was the birthday of a certain someone, and that someone just happens to be my good old friend Bio. With that in consideration, I decided to make a special upload for him! I first wanted to give him something a tad bit more fancy (because video games are indeed fancy), but in the end I decided to actually go and make a video for him since we both felt like it was a good idea.
So anyway... Happy Birthday friend. Lets be kind of personal in the description for once, and allow me to say that youre actually one of the people that Id consider an actual friend even though weve known each others only via Internet. It might sound a tad bit extravagant put that way, but Im sincere about it. We get along so well, we speak about important things when it matters, while managing to laugh otherwise, and we both got wisdom to share with each others. Its a pretty fulfilling relationship, and Im glad to have met you.
Ive been mixed between uploading some Trance or Metal for this one, and although Ive actually found Electro tracks that were much better than this, I alas couldnt find any pictures to fit. So Ive decided to go with Metal, since this genre sure doesnt disappoint.
Speaking of Metal here, Ive started to listen to more of it lately, which might or might not say that Ill upload some more in the future. Its one of the genres that Im personally not too fond of in general, but that mentality seems to be fading away the more I think about it. Then again, Death Metal and the likes of it wont ever get the chance to appear here, so theres that part still intact I guess.
Regarding the track, I actually like it quite a bit! Its definitely different from my usual mellow tastes, but I find that not to be such a bad thing. Sometimes I really just need something to give me some due energy when I need it, after all. The overall track is not all that amazing, since it keeps the same tone for the whole thing, and there isnt any note-worthy parts that I can highlight either. However, I feel like it fits Heian Alien like a glove, and it managed to give an already menacing and unnerving theme even more hostility, which I found to be neat.

On a side note, I finally found some C89 tracks to upload after a pretty harsh search, and Im glad to announce that it will start starting next upload. You folks can look forward to it, I suppose.

There was a gatekeeper and a maid. One of them was a Youkai, while the other a human. Different races, different living, different power... They were different. But that difference wasnt enough to separate them from one another.
Greetings everyone. Today I present to you a very fantastic piece. Its currently in my top 5 Touhou arrangements lists, and it has been so for a long time.
This arrangement is a beautiful mix of sadness, power, melancholy and happiness. I have yet to hear a piano arrange who could show me so many emotions at once. When I heard it 5 years ago, it made me cry. It made me realize how much I loved piano, and how much it was important to me.
EoSDs soundtrack is very nice, and is possibly the first soundtrack that many fans heard first (me included). When I first started Stage 3, I fell right in love with the music. It was my first impression, and quite honestly, this theme stays as one of my favourites in all Touhou. I might be very biased on it since it holds so much nostalgia, but my love is real.
While were at it, can I say how much I like Meiling? Shes probably the kindest character in all Touhou, even kinder than Byakuren to my eyes. While Byakuren is very kind, she does it because of the fact that she is Buddhist, you see. Her religions philosophy is to be kind to everyone. Meiling, on the other hand, has a different kind of kindness. Its not a duty for her, shes just friendly. Thats what makes it so different. Meiling was the best carer that Sakuya could ever have. Thats also why I love these two together so much. Perhaps not as love interests, but rather as a friendly duo that sticks together through hard times.

Running away, getting chased by people... All of that only but for a little yet inspiring scoop. That was nothing but the usual in the young reporters everyday.
...Its been a while, huh? Almost two months of inactivity this time around. Just saying that out loud gives me both an headache and a feeling of shame.
Ill plain out admit that Ive had a lack of interest in Touhou and uploading for the past two months. My life is rather busy lately, and Ive had other things to think about. That, and I guess that Ive been trying to get interested in something else than Touhou. To do more of my time than just stay on the computer, to try and find something else to get addicted and talk about... It was a crave of change more than anything, really. I suppose that staying on the same interest for almost eight years can do that to people, eh?
However, now I can officially declare that I am back! Who knows if my words mean anything after saying the same sentence every time, but I have a feeling that this time is the right one.
Ringing Volcano is a new circle made by the one and only Nakasako Sakana, the founder of Machikado-Mapoze, which is one my personal favourite circles around. I dont exactly know the specific details as to why he decided to go and create a second circle, since I believe that Machikado is still active (dont quote me on that, though). However, whatever the reason, I sure am glad to see more of him. Hes such a fantastic artist, and all of his tracks just scream originality and have a special flair to them. Its really magical. This artist actually has a Youtube channel if you didnt know, and I think that it might be worth to go ahead and subscribe to him
This track is so nice. It makes me imagine a young reporter kid running in the streets of an older London, with her sidekick following behind while being chased away by the authorities for making trouble. They run away, hide to catch up their breath, then get spotted again before starting to run once more and escape to the outskirts of the city. Ive tried to show that kind of scene with my picture choice, and I daresay that I did a good job with it.
Now... This upload has a special meaning. It happens that there has been three birthdays in the last few days, and Ive missed two of them. I feel a bit lazy to do it this way, but I honestly didnt prepare enough to go and make a proper upload for each of these people. As such, I hereby dedicate this upload to Marisa, Nii and Koishi.
Sure, I didnt manage to prepare an upload for each of you guys, but I have some nice words to say, so this sort of makes up for it, right? ... Okay fine, it totally doesnt. Let me say them anyway.
You three have been very good friends, if you didnt know already. Seriously, I love the Touhou scene because of the fact that there are people like you that are so easy to connect with. Im not the most sociable person around, but Ive managed to go and make friends with people that I actually dont know in real life. One could argue with that claim, since bounding with Internet people is a tad bit easier, but having actual meaningful relations? Thats one hard step, let me tell you.

A parade of zombies. In an almost unnaturally straight line, zombies were dancing and screaming while parading to their hearts content.
Its that time of the year already! The time where children disguise themselves and go ask for treats around in the streets, where the adults need to accompany the small ones, and where we who stay at home need to buy some more candy to give!
Im admittedly not the most enthusiastic person around, but even I know when to put on a smile and be happy about the upcoming hours. Halloween has such a friendly atmosphere, and everyone is walking around with their kids or friends, wandering in the barely lighted streets in search for wonderful sugar. I dont like sugar much myself, but I certainly wouldnt refuse some chocolate.
Its kind of a shame that I need to upload this at this hour (its only 4 PM here, so the party havent even started yet), but its my only option since Im going to go sleep at a friends house tonight. It doesnt exactly makes the upload less hyping or anything, but I still admit that I would have liked to write this description during the night, hearing the children giggling outside my window.
In any case, Im quite happy to actually have managed to create a video for a special occasion for once. I missed Cirno Day, then I missed Touhous Official 10th birthday... It was starting to bug me big time.
I was very mixed between going for a more darker upload, or if I should go for a light mood. In the end, however, I went with the lighter mood since I feel that this is how I perceive Halloween as a whole. I usually dont wait for Halloween to be scared, but rather to have a day where everyone is happy and enjoy a common cause. Thats what makes it truly special for me.
Of course, a lighter mood meant an arrangement that is moderately well known. I already had the idea for a while, so finding a good track wasnt an issue. This album is simply so good and true to pure Jazz, and I couldnt help but upload from it. Even though many have already done so in the past, I will also do so.
The main problem with this project was finding a picture that itched me in a very good side. It was... absolutely tedious. I never expected to have such a hard time finding a good art for Halloween, and even less of Yoshika. Upon finding this one, my face just beamed a huge smile, and I knew what would happen next. In that sense, it was a tedious but very fruitful success.
Im also quite proud of the overall presentation there. I believe that this might just be my best shot so far. The effect at 0:33 was actually pure coincidence, but I think that it did a neat job at introducing the heavy start.

Over the horizon, far beyond what the eyes could see, lied a sky. A dark, gloomy sky with a slight light piercing through the overbearing darkness...
I cant believe that I havent heard of this circle before. This one seems to be a new face that made its appearance in the latest C87. I barely touched anything from that event yet, and after discovering this album and circle, me think that I should perhaps go and discover some more gems. However, the owner of the circle, Veto, is a familiar face that has been around the corner for a very long time. I downright didnt realize that he was the one who made this circle, and for that I feel stupid.
My first impressions about this album are quite positive. It seems to be pretty oriented toward Post Rock and Ambient music, and if you know me well enough, youll know that this is a potential gold mine right there. Id go as far as say that this circle might actually become a Knights of Round spiritual successor. I sincerely do hope that this circle will appear in the next event. I really do.
Regarding this track now... You have no idea how hyped I was when I first listened to this track. All my senses tingled in sync, and I knew for a fact that it had a place worth of my channel. It sounds so old-fashioned, has a great atmosphere, and keeps the same tone for the whole time. Thats everything that I love about KoR in one song, and this track managed to execute it all flawlessly.
On a side note, this is actually the first time that I upload an arrangement from Ten Desires, which is a bit sad admittedly. The thing is, I cant seem to find good arrangements of my favourites themes from TD, or any sweet arranges of the game period. There are a decent amount of Piano pieces, and while Im debating whether I should upload some or not at the moment, Im honestly feeling like I want something else than Piano. I recently just found an album with about four arranges of Mamizous theme, and I am definitely considering uploading a track from it.
Before closing this description, Id like to mention that my frequency of uploads will be very low for the coming week. The anime convention that I mentioned a few uploads ago is coming this Friday, and I will have my hands busy with this. I should be able to upload more regularly starting next week.
