Some call it fog. We prefer to think of it as a silver lining. Like many things around here, fog has a mind of its own. It creeps along the coastline and hangs out there until it’s in the mood to roll into town. Sometimes it stays for a moment, other times it’s longer. But then, just when you’ve had enough, it suddenly lifts. And reveals a row of jellybean-coloured houses. Or a stretch of golden barrens. Or the sight of lichen clinging to the shoreline.
