This is the official old version of Double Trouble Legacy, which is the 2023 version of the song. While most of the song sounds the same at first, there are many differences between the 2023 & Legacy versions of the song, which are:
- The custom vocals for Red from 2023 have been changed to his original vocals for Legacy, the default Among Us pluck sound.
- Green's vocals have much less reverb in Legacy like they did in 2023.
- BF's long-note after the chorus' first section (e.g: 0:38) has been turned from an "Ooooh" in 2023, to an "Eeeehh" in Legacy.
- BF's note-spam section in the duet part of the chorus (e.g: 0:50) has more variation in his vocals in Legacy than 2023.
- BF's long note at 1:34 is a normal hold-note in 2023, but now it slides at the end.
- Red & Green now have an extra vocal section at 2:02 in Legacy which they didn't have in 2023.
- BF now has an extra vocal section at 3:20 in Legacy which he didn't have in 2023.

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centres around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes? Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.
