***STORY***
After Pico failed to comply with the Dearest's demands to kill Boyfriend twice, Daddy Dearest was furious. And after Pico made amends with Darnell at the end of WeekEnd 1, Daddy Dearest had enough. He had his henchmen kidnap Pico and bring him to the Dearest mansion, where Daddy Dearest cast Pico in one of his many games: Among Us.

Having been familiarised with the game beforehand, Pico heads to his inventory and decks himself out in military-ware before facing off with Powers, a crewmate so annoying because of his luxury accessories, that he grew a mouth, in Roomcode.

After the rap-battle, Pico joins the match where, by pure chance, the notorious Black Impostor was playing in the same match. Being canonically unable to lose while under the spell of the parasite, Black obviously wins the match and, seeing that Pico was a friend of Boyfriend's, he takes the ginger into the Defeat screen to give him a taste of what it means to be the hunted instead of the hunter, cueing the "Defeat Pico Mix" song to begin.

Will Pico survive this perilous encounter with Black? Pico's went through much worse than this in his action-filled life, so we can count on him to escape Black alive and well.

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centres around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes? Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.
