This is my part for onlyoneking_12's mep! So in case people haven't realized based on the title, this video has a guy x guy relationship and has a "Tragic Love" theme. If you don't like that, then you don't need to watch it.
As a heads up, this is the last mep I'll be joining until I finish my One Chance, One Choice video! I really want to finish it before Christmas so I need to solely focus on that. The only reason I may join another mep between now and then is if there is plenty of time before the deadline and if I can't help myself xD

Because gay relationships are considered taboo in both kingdoms and are punishable by death. Stoick catches them one day and they are both arrested. On the day of their execution, Valka approaches Flynn in his cell and pleads with him to help her son. As he is being dragged away, he makes a promise to save him at any cost.
In the courtyard, Flynn puts on a facade of rage, quickly escapes the guards, and charges Hiccup. He attacks him, shouting lies about forcing Hiccup into the relationship and blaming Hiccup for getting them caught. He twists the situation, making everyone see him as the bad guy and Hiccup as the victim. And the rest is pretty self explanatory~ xD In my mind, Hiccup's name is cleared because of Flynn's actions, but if you want it to be REALLY tragic, then Hiccup is still put to death regardless.

Theme: boy broke up with the girl and find another. Girl still love him and want to start a relationship with him.
I may have strayed from the theme slightly? I’m not entirely sure. Hopefully it’s still close enough xD
Story: Anna and Jack are spirits that befriended Punzie when she was just a little girl. They’ve watched her grow up and along the way, Punzie and Jack fell in love. They were together for a while but then Jack broke it off believing it would be too heartbreaking for him when she would grow old and die without him. She didn’t want to believe it was over though, so she decided to act as if nothing changed.
Some time later, they all go into the kingdom for a yearly fair (a kind of tradition for them). Punzie continues to act as close to Jack as before and he finds himself falling back into his old spot with her. But he catches himself and reminds both of them of that possible heartbreak and how it’s over. There’s also one more reason they can’t be together anymore…
Later that evening Jack and Anna approach Punzie and finally confess that they are together now. They’ve always been as close as Jack and Punzie were but they have the whole immortal thing going on so it works for them. This is the final push needed to make Punzie realize it’s really over between them and it breaks her heart.
Also, side note- originally I was going to have Jack say “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for this to happen” but I thought leaving it out left more to the imagination. yes? no? maybe so?
But Erica, why such a long story for just a 28 sec mep?

Storyline: Hiccup and Rapunzel have been together for a long time and Punzie cant think of any way for things to get better. The night before Hiccups crowning as chief, they go on one of their usual flying dates. At the coronation, Rapunzel waits in the crowd for Hiccup. Now that hes old enough to be chief, hes also old enough to marry, and she believes hell ask her right after the ceremony. Instead, shes shocked and heartbroken to see Hiccup pull another girl, Astrid, in for a kiss. Hiccup sees Rapunzel flee and later finds her and tries to explain himself. When he was younger, his father introduced him to Astrid, explaining that he was betrothed to her and that they would marry once Hiccup was crowned chief. However, Hiccup wanted to grow up living his own life and fall in love with whomever he chose. He knew that he couldnt run from his responsibilities, but until that time came, he wanted to act as his own person. He tries to convince Rapunzel that he truly does love her, but she feels completely betrayed. They shared so much together but now everything seems like a total lie. She ends it right then and there, storming off and leaving Hiccup behind. Later, shes in her room thinking about everything thats happened.

This is my part for by bday mep which will be posted tomorrow! :D Originally I was going to do this part with hiccelsa, but then gave my part up a month or so ago because I was too busy and didnt think Id be able to finish it. Well turns out I needed to do a part as a backup anyway so hijack to the rescue! XD Since I only found out I needed to be a backup a few days ago, I had to tone down the ambitious ideas a LOT x) Due to this, its a lot less creative manip/storyline wise and I also skipped out on masking a couple clips because I had so little time. But anyway, its done so thats good.

Storyline: Hiccup is Jacks first and only believer. Theyve known each other for more than a few years and although they are very close, even bordering the line of a relationship, Jack still gets very upset over the fact he has no other believers. Not even animals can see him, so without any other believers he understandably gets very lonely when Hiccup isnt free to spend time with him. One night these feelings come to a head and when Hiccup tries to comfort Jack, he finally snaps at the brunette. How can you always say everything will be okay when youve never been in my situation? You have no idea what this kind of life is like. Jack leaves Hiccup behind, both thinking back to the first time Hiccup had noticed Jack wandering through the village.
The next day, Hiccup convinces Jack to meet him at the dragon sanctuary for a surprise. When Jack arrives, Hiccup tells him to try petting Toothless. Jack has done this in the past only to phase through the reptile so he is hesitant at first, but trusting Hiccups words, he reaches out towards Toothless. To his surprise and utter joy, Toothless meets his hand half way and his hand does not phase through. Hiccup has found a way to train Toothless to believe [idk how, its for plot] and Jack couldnt be happier to have another believer. Hiccup and Jack look out into the sanctuary and start a pleasant conversation, still high on the happiness from their new discovery.
Hiccup: So what dragon should we try to train next?
Jack: The bewilderbeast?
Hiccup: Babysteps, Jack, babysteps...
They were originally going to share a hug at the end, but lazy editor is lazy.

I think this is the quickest Ive EVER finished a mep part x) I felt so inspired by this song and theme of this mep I just couldnt help but keep working on it until it was done!!
Originally this was just going to be a bunch of manips of fairy Punzie but I HAD to include this story once I thought of it and it was also a lot of fun trying out new things! This is was my first time making 2D objects 3D, using texture/image transitions, and also the first time Ive ever done a head swap ;D

Storyline: In an enchanted forest bordering a peaceful kingdom, we see a young fairy playing with some water nymphs. When Hans journeys into the forest searching for his lost love, Rapunzel, he comes across the fairy. However, this fairy isnt nearly as innocent as she appears. In reality, she is a body snatcher. When humans wander into her forest, she casts a spell on them, turning them into loyal nymphs. She then takes on the form of that human until she finds another victim. What he doesnt know is that Rapunzel had been the body snatchers previous victim.
So when she turns and reveals that her face is the one hes searching for, he freezes on the spot in utter confusion. With Hans frozen in place, the fairy has enough time to cast her spell, changing Hans into a nymph and then taking on his form.

After I finish one more mep part with her, I never want to mask Astrid again... ever. Idk why but she was killer xD I thought shed be simple and fun but she was just a pain in the butt to mask.
