This is "Flying Shark" for the Commodore Amiga.
It was released back in 1988 by Firebird based on Taito's 1987 coin-op video game.
The development of the game was done by "Images" programming team, Rob Brooks(code), Rob Hylands(code), Jason Lihou(graphics) and Jason Smart(music).
The game is a simple vertical shooter in which you control a biplane and you must destroy the enemy's planes and tanks with your machine guns and a limited supply of smart bombs.
Sadly the Amiga version is nothing more than an Atari ST port which means that it doesn't make use of the extra hardware capabilities of the machine.
The game's graphics are simple but well drawn and fairly colored.
The scrolling is fast but it could have been a lot smoother.
The in game tunes are trying to replicate the coin-op's tunes and the sound effects are basic.
The main disadvantage of the game is its difficulty.
Even if you choose to play it in easy mode, as i did in this video, the game's difficulty increases rapidly.
The small play area doesn't help and soon enemy planes, tanks and bullets are cramped leaving you very little space for maneuvers.
Of course i made heavy use of savestates to help me proceed in the game.
The game has mainly 4 different levels which after level 4 they are repeated randomly.
In this video i have included the first 10 levels.
