I visited Emirates Flight Training Academy in Dubai, which is not a flight school but a dedicated airline academy.

During my visit, I flew their Cirrus SR-22 and Embraer Phenom 100 jet with a professional flight instructor. Check out my takeoff, landing, and the flight. It was my first time flying a jet since I’ve received my Private Pilot License.

After the flight, I visited the entire academy. The classroom with interactive teaching, the test room about all the qualifications, the canteen, and student accommodation.

The entire airline academy program starts from zero to an integrated ATPL in 2 years. The student will build up 250 flying hours include multi-engine jet hours. The first-year program will be theory-based ground school. The entire cost of the program is approximately $180,000 include accommodation and food.
