I visited the Korean Air Crew Training Center in Seoul and attended their aviation security class. First, the black belt instructor demonstrates how to restrain unruly passengers with a simple hand-twist trick. Then, the crew shows how to use a taser gun as a last resort to target trouble passengers.

Next, I was invited to observe the emergency ditching class of Korean Air crew training. The airplane simulated a forced landing on water and passengers had to brace themselves. The crew demonstrates how to inflate the life vest and slide down the airplane in a stressful scenario.

Next week, I will visit Korean Air Busan tech center including painting a B747-8, seeing how they manufacture Boeing and Airbus parts, visit Korean Air cargo at Incheon and take a look at the Korean Air catering center.
