Ever wonder what happens when the air traffic controllers go home at night? Well, I answer several questions about airport night life in this minisode.

Most small towered airports have a time posted in the airport facilities directory at which the tower opens and closes for the day. Most student pilots can tell you that the airport becomes uncontrolled at this time, and the airspace reverts to class E, but what actually transpires on the field at this time?

Hey, did you guys know that the FAA actually certifies flight instructors to tell you everything that I try to convey in these videos? You should definitely talk to one of them instead of trusting some video you found on the internet, because who am I to tell you how to fly? I'm just a pilot sharing my experiences with the world, and these videos are not meant to be instructional or advisory in any respect.
