What makes this flight special is my VIP passenger, Hershel "Woody" Williams. Mr. Williams is the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from World War II, and at age 97 he runs the Woody Williams Foundation, supporting Gold Star Families. I had previously flown Mr. Williams to a memorial dedication event in Iowa, and when the opportunity to help out with a General Aviation flight presented itself again recently, I jumped on it.
