The third edition of the FLY AI Forum will be held on 22-23 April 2025 at our Brussels Headquarters, gathering key stakeholders to explore the transformative impact of AI in the aviation sector.
Organised on behalf of our FLY AI partners—including the European Commission (EC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), European Defence Agency (EDA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (IFATCA), International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA), ACI EUROPE, NATO, and the SESAR Joint Undertaking—this Forum will showcase cutting-edge AI applications in aviation.
The 2025 FLY AI Forum will cover the latest trends from research to operations, with a focus on AI applications in air traffic management (ATM), air operations and airports. These will be complemented by live demonstrations in the exhibition area.
New features include:
- AI induction session: An online session on 26 March (10:00-12:00) designed to help participants understand the basics of AI techniques used or expected to be used in the aviation domain. [Register here]
- FLY AI members’ deliverables: A brief overview of key milestones and deliverables from FLY AI members, highlighting efforts to accelerate AI development in aviation.
- EASA Concept Paper: Concrete applications of the EASA concept paper, with a focus on various use cases and lessons learned.
To encourage more in-depth discussions, we are introducing a new format for the final Forum session. There will be six break-out sessions covering management, technical and operational aspects. Each panel will feature a brief presentation of challenges and solutions, followed by an open floor for participant interaction.
