The Florida Department of Transportation is ordering local law enforcement to remove all license plate readers on state highways. The decision follows recent privacy concerns and reports of police misconduct involving the technology.

FOX's Amy Galo reports from Wesley Chapel, Florida, that this directive includes those controversial Flock cameras that have sparked a lot of debate over the past few weeks.

On one hand, law enforcement officials call Flock a helpful crime-fighting tool. On the other hand, some people in the state, all the way up to the governor, have concerns about how police are using the cameras.
