Weekly Catch-up:
Ray launched his new project/website called Immerse in the Wild to great success! Ray also wrapped up his time in Death Valley National Park and moved on to Del Valle Regional Park outside of San Francisco for some good mountain biking trails and some incredible scenery. After that he went to another location in the same area to try to photograph Western and Clark’s Grebes performing their courtship ritual called rushing, which turned out to be more challenging than originally anticipated. Brad spent some time with his local waterfowl and got creative taking out only his TT Artisan 250mm reflex donut bokeh lens with great results! The guys then share about how Brad created his own floating pad to make shooting in the water much easier. Ray shares about his home made floating hide he built many years ago and his more recent transition to using an underwater housing for photographing birds in and around the water.
