Line of sight flying is an often neglected part of flying a mini quad. It is also in many way a lot harder to master than flying FPV because the dreaded disorientation issues can occur where you have no idea which way the quad is flying or what way to push the sticks in order to recover.
Why learn line of sight?
It's an important skill to employ when checking out quads for the first time to see if they have any issues before flying them FPV. In line of sight mode you have much greater spatial awareness of where the quad is in relation to you and others ... which makes it the perfect choice for maiden flights and lets you spot potential issues that you may not see flying FPV.
