Today we're back in X-Plane 12, and it's time to start learning one of Boeing's most iconic airliners — the Boeing 757.
With a brand-new 757 heading to Microsoft Flight Simulator, this feels like the perfect opportunity to get ahead of the game. We'll be using the FlightFactor Boeing 757 in X-Plane 12 to start learning the aircraft properly, exploring its systems, cockpit layout, FMC, performance and the procedures that make the 757 such a unique aircraft to operate.
Rather than simply flying from A to B, we'll put the aircraft to work with OnAir Company, taking on some airline operations while learning the 757 in a working environment.
Later in the stream, we'll turn our attention to Thursday's VATSIM flight as we plan a Boeing 737 MAX service from Berlin Brandenburg to the spectacular and challenging Tivat Airport in Montenegro.

About the Flight – Learning the Boeing 757
Today's stream begins a proper introduction to an aircraft I've wanted to spend more time with:
FlightFactor 757 – One of X-Plane's established high-fidelity airliner add-ons and a great platform for getting familiar with Boeing 757 operations.
Boeing 757 – Famous for its performance, powerful engines and versatility, the 757 has operated everything from short domestic sectors to transatlantic routes and challenging airports around the world.
Aircraft Systems – We'll start getting familiar with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel systems while understanding how the aircraft is prepared and operated.
FMC & Cockpit Workflow – From programming the route to configuring the aircraft for departure and arrival, the aim is to build a workflow we can carry forward as we spend more time with the 757.
OnAir Company – Instead of flying without a purpose, we'll put our new skills to work with real company operations and see where the OnAir job market takes us.
Coming to MSFS – With a new Boeing 757 on the way to Microsoft Flight Simulator, learning the aircraft now gives us the opportunity to understand its systems and procedures before getting our hands on the new release.
Later, we'll swap 757 training for VATSIM Thursday planning, preparing our Boeing 737 MAX for the flight from Berlin Brandenburg to Tivat — an airport famous for its surrounding mountains and spectacular approach into Montenegro.
Today is all about learning, flying and getting ready for what's coming next.
