This baby chipping sparrow has left the nest and is able to take short flights, while still being fed by its parents. It was probably doing just fine out in the wild, but ended up being rescued by well-meaning humans. The sparrow will spend some time with a wildlife rehabilitator who specializes in birds, before being released back into the wild.
