In flat earth and earth science debates you'll always hear people arguing about the (assumed) cause and the known effects of gravity or whether such a force even exists. Globe earth advocates and flat earth researchers alike often misunderstand each other and rarely agree on the simplest terms and descriptions for what we subjectively and objectively see happening in the real world. So let's (try to) clear up some of the misunderstandings and disagreements by establishing what anyone can observe and know to be true, and whether objects falling due to gravity can be attributed to a non-inertial (acelerating) reference frame or an Inertial reference frame (moving at constant velocity or stationary), or both!
