Join me for a playthrough of the classic cinematic platformer, Flashback: The Quest for Identity. This is being played via my favorite version, for Sega CD. This is much like the Genesis/Megadrive version, but features no slowdown, and updated color palette at points, clearer sound effects, full motion video and a constant in-game CD soundtrack (the only version to do so). I'm a little rusty near the end of the game as the difficulty level really spikes there, but I predict a fairly smooth run for the first half of the game at the very least. Note that this is being played on an actual Sega Genesis Model 2, connected to a Sega CD Model 1, with RGB video output into a RetroTINK-5X.
