If your iPhone alarm goes off but doesn’t play a sound, or is incredibly quiet, you might fix it by going to Settings, Sounds & Haptics, and checking the Ringtone and Alerts slider volume. But there is a long-standing bug that means it can still go wrong. If it does, first try switching your alarm tone to something else and then back again. And failing that, the brute-force solution is to set two alarms, perhaps one minute apart. Somehow at least one of them will work.
