â đ Can you repair a boat ramp by walking into a lake with ten 80-pound bags of concrete?
At Cypress Landing, we found a deep muddy section at the end of the boat ramp where boat trailers could drop into a hole while launching. With less than 48 hours before we had to leave, Todd took on the job the only way he could: walking into the lake and placing the concrete one bag at a time.
What followed included heavy bags, slippery mud, rain, floating paddles, mysterious bubbles, possible leeches, concrete in his hair, and a boat ramp that still needs more work. This is the real side of owning and improving an RV park. The work is messy, physical, and sometimes a lot funnier than expected.
