DemiGodX | fixed the crash problem (kinda) in gta vc. plus liberty city stories on psc @DemiGodX | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
its kinda hard to explain but it wasn't utilizing the swap memory in past videos. that's basically virtual memory for when the Ram gets overloaded. However it only seems to use it when it converts the textures. the problem is if i restart the psc and start a game from the converted textures it would crash again. so i gotta delete the converted textures to have the game convert it again for it to use the swap memory. weird, im going to have to ask around about this
also if the game converts the official gta3.img file, it ends up with corrupt textures. i assume it has something to do with mipmaps being generated incorrectly. so i had to use magictxd to convert the gta3.img file, and clear the mipmaps setting
