If your Linux virtual machine is stuck at a low resolution in VirtualBox, you can quickly fix it using the xrandr command. In this short tutorial, I show how to check available resolutions and set full screen resolution directly from the terminal.

This method works on BunsenLabs Carbon, Debian, Ubuntu, and most Linux distributions running in VirtualBox.

Commands used in the video:
xrandr
xrandr --output Virtual1 --mode 1920x1080

Simply check your display name using xrandr and replace Virtual1 if needed.
