Turtle3863 | Fix for a 19FD Murphy Bed @Turtle3863 | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 21 hours ago
Last year I started having trouble with my Murphy bed snagging the paneling on the side as I was lowering it for the night. At first it only happened a few times but this season it stuck hard on our first camping trip so I decided something had to be done. As it turned out the hole where Forest River used to install the bed parts expands over the years and bows out which catches on the locking cam when lowering the bed. I used a piece of wood to bow the paneling out of the way of the cam in this video.
