A bizarre choice on Steel Wool’s part, there exists (or existed) a mobile port for Help Wanted. It’s cool that they managed to fit this game onto a mobile device, but at the same time it’s not worth playing as much of the content has been cut. Beyond just certain levels, there are no collectible tapes and coins, nor any encounters related to Glitchtrap aside from the ending. Curse of Dreadbear also never made it to mobile, so the base game is what you get. The only real addition to the mobile port was the Princess Quest minigame, and even then it was since added to Security Breach along with 2 sequels, plus a fourth version in Help Wanted 2.
The mobile port also kept disappearing and reappearing on the App Store and Google Play Store every so often, until sometime in 2025 where the port was discontinued and removed permanently. You can’t even find it in your owned apps anymore. Honestly this is probably for the better since there was no point in maintaining an inferior version of a game that was really only meant to tease Security Breach.
Regardless of everything, this is a fascinating port. You wouldn’t expect something like this, but it happened.
