Join us on Ensor St to hear about the history of Christ’s Institution Hospital. Run by Dr. George Kennard at a time when almost all institutions in Baltimore were strictly segregated by race, this hospital trained Black and White medical students, employed Black and White doctors and treated Black and White patients—it was unusual and remarkable. Thanks for watching and see you soon with another video.

This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Every week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
